Fonda specializes in meeting people where they are at in life, using real-life opportunities to develop a growth-oriented mindset and resiliency and coaching them to take positive and progressive steps to move forward in life.

... earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology with a minor in Asian American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2009 and her Master of Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2011. Immediately after graduating, Fonda worked for various sub-contracted programs of the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health for the next five years. This time of service proved to be invaluable as she had the distinct privilege and opportunity to work with some of the most vulnerable people in our local communities.

  • Intergenerational family and/or cultural trauma, especially in communities of color

  • Recovering from life traumas, especially those stemming from dysfunctional and abusive family dynamics

  • Recovering from mental and emotional problems related to depression and anxiety, including, but not limited to, severe and persistent psychiatric disorders (such as bipolar and other psychotic disorders)

  • Relationship and couples counseling to improve communication skills and approach conflict more effectively

  • Relationship and couples counseling to address affairs and infidelity

  • Developing parenting strategies for teens and young adults, including those who using or abusing substances

  • Providing consultation for long-term treatment and care to families and caregivers who have loved ones with severe and persistent mental health conditions, such as Schizophrenia
